How do Provincial nomination get Candidates assured ITAs?
Express Entry candidates who receive a nomination from a PNP draw automatically
get an additional 600 CRS points towards their over all score. This effectively
guarantees them receiving an Invitation to Apply for a subsequent draw.
During the pandemic, IRCC has been holding PNP only draws, where candidates
needed PNP to get invited.
Express Entry system
Express Entry is not an immigration program, but an application management system
for three Federally high skilled immigration programs named as following, Federal
Skilled Workers Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program, and Canadian Experience
Class. Express Entry candidates may be eligible for one or more of these programs.
IRCC awards candidates CRS points based on their factors such as age, work
experience, Education, Linguistic abilities, among other factors. Highest scoring
candidates are then invited to apply for a subsequent Express Entry draw.
